According to Florian Plettenberg, Everton are now demanding a whopping €93m (£80.2m) for rumoured Tottenham target Jarrad Branthwaite.
Branthwaite has been one of the standout centre-backs in the Premier League this season and the 21-year-old is expected to be part of the England squad for this summer’s Euros.
A couple of days ago, TEAMtalk revealed that Ange Postecoglou had urged the Spurs hierarchy to bring the Toffees academy graduate to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.
The report added that Man Utd and Bayern Munich were also keeping tabs on the centre-back’s situation at Goodison Park.
Everton demand bumper fee for Jarrad Branthwaite
Plettenberg has now also confirmed United’s interest in Branthwaite but he reveals that Sean Dyche’s men have put a €93m (£80.2m) price tag on the youngster’s head.
He asserts that this has put off the Red Devils, who have no intention of paying that price for the centre-back.

Meanwhile, Football Transfers have also relayed Plettenberg’s claim and they reveal that their information on the matter is quite different.
According to the publication, Erik Ten Hag’s men are very much still in the race for Branthwaite, with Everton’s demands thought to be close to £65m.
Spurs Web Opinion
Irrespective of whether Everton want £65m or £80m for Branthwaite, there is no chance that Tottenham will entertain a move for the 22-year-old. The Lilywhites will spend the bulk of their transfer budget on a midfielder and a forward this summer.
