Report: Two injured Spurs stars could return against Arsenal this weekend

The Standard have revealed that Pedro Porro and Richarlison could both be fit for the North London derby on Sunday.

The build-up around the big derby game on Sunday will likely be about Arsenal’s quest for the Premier League title and whether the Lilywhites can end their rivals’ title hopes.

However, Ange Postecoglou’s men will be focussed on their own objective of finishing fourth and it is quite possible that they could find themselves nine points behind Villa (with three games in hand) heading into Sunday’s game.

Tottenham could have Porro and Richarlison back

That means that the clash is essentially a must-win game for the home side and it turns out they could be boosted by the return of two key players.

While Tottenham will be without Destiny Udogie, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season after having surgery on his quadriceps, The Standard claim that Porro, who limped off with a hamstring problem against Newcastle, could be fit for the clash.

In addition, it is revealed that Richarlison is also stepping up his recovery and could return to the matchday squad for the big game.

With Udogie injured, we desperately need Porro back for Sunday’s game. It would not be ideal to line up with Emerson Royal and Ben Davies as our full-backs against Arsenal as the pair do not provide the same sort of attacking thrust as Porro and Udogie do.
