Encouraging moment spotted between Harry Kane and Ndombele in Spurs training

In the most recent training video posted by Tottenham, Tanguy Ndombele produced an impressive finish with his left foot, which left many of his teammates, including Harry Kane, rather impressed.

Tottenham left Bangkok without playing a single game after the clash against Leicester City at the Rajamangala Stadium was called off due to water-logging on the pitch, but the players did have some hard training sessions in the humid weather in Thailand.

The club shared a video of the team’s double training session on Saturday, with Ndombele seen producing a moment of real quality.

Ndombele is back in training for Tottenham

The Frenchman missed the game against West Ham United last week due to a knock but he is seemingly now back to full fitness as he produced a blistering left-footed finish into the top corner.

The goal was appreciated by Ndombele’s teammates, not least Kane, who was in the same team as the 26-year-old, with the England captain being heard saying: “Yes, Tanguy!!” after the ball hit the back of the net.

I was quite surprised that Ndombele was not named in the starting eleven by Postecoglou for the clash against Leicester (before it was called off) as I thought the Australian would be keen to see how the Frenchman does in the number eight role.

Perhaps, we will get to see that on Sunday but the game will not tell us too much about the system or the players’ fitness levels, given the quality of the opposition we will be playing against.
