Fabrizio Romano says Spurs midfielder is ‘one to watch’ this summer – Tips seven other outgoings

Fabrizio Romano has become the latest journalist to suggest that there will be plenty of outgoings from Tottenham this summer but he hinted that there is still some uncertainty over Giovani Lo Celso’s future.

Ange Postecoglou himself acknowledged earlier this month that some difficult decisions will have to be made this summer, admitting that several good players will have to be let go by Tottenham and replaced with ones who are better suited to his system (Football.London).

Various publications over the last few weeks have suggested on the back of those comments that there will be a mass exodus from Hotspur Way this summer, with Football Insider claiming recently that as many as nine first-team players have already been put on the shop window.

Romano provides update on Tottenham outgoings

Romano has now taken to social media to reveal that Joe Rodon, Djed Spence and Japhet Tanganga, who were all out on loan this season, have no futures at Spurs.

He also revealed that Ryan Sessegnon will depart as a free agent while Bryan Gil, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Emerson Royal are all attracting interest.

However, curiously, Romano named Lo Celso as ‘one to watch’, which perhaps suggests that a final decision is yet to be made on the Argentine’s future.

I can understand why Ange would want to keep Lo Celso around as a squad player but I would be extremely surprised if the Argentine stayed. The midfielder is now entering the prime years of his career and he will want a fresh start elsewhere so that he can play regularly.
