Olise has had a breakthrough season at Crystal Palace and was one of the best attacking players on show across the Premier League during the 2023-24 season.

The winger terrorised defences with his technical quality and guile, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists in just 19 league appearances (Transfermarkt).

It was HITC who first reported back in January that Tottenham were interested in the 22-year-old and had already ‘fielded an enquiry’ to his representatives.

The report stated that the Lilywhites would face plenty of competition for the Frenchman, who allegedly has a release clause of over £50m in his contract.

The reports linking Olise with a move to Spurs have died down recently, with various outlets over the last few days suggesting that the battle for the Eagles star looks set to be between Manchester United and Chelsea (CaughtOffside).

However, Nixon has now claimed on social media that as things stand, the attacker’s preference is to remain with Oliver Glasner’s man next season.

Based on recent reports, it does not seem like Olise is one of the top names on Tottenham’s wishlist. If Spurs do pursue a Palace player this summer, it looks more likely to be Eberechi Eze.
