Radu Dragusin completes Spurs medical – Fabrizio Romano reveals contract length and wage

According to Fabrizio Romano, Radu Dragusin has now completed his medical at Tottenham Hotspur, and has put pen to paper on a contract valid until 2029, which will earn him €3m (£2.5m) per year.

The long drawn-out saga revolving around Radu Dragusin‘s future is close to an end now, with Tottenham getting their man after a tense battle with Bayern Munich for the 21-year-old’s signature.

Tottenham had agreed personal terms with Dragusin roughly a week ago, but the German giants entered the race for the Genoa defender this week and the player had a big decision to make last night (Gianluca Di Marzio).

This morning, however, it was revealed that Dragusin had stuck to his word and opted for the move to North London. The centre-half arrived at Hotspur Way earlier today to carry out his medical tests ahead of the switch.

How much is Radu Dragusin going to be paid?

Fabrizio Romano has already revealed the details of the agreement between Spurs and Genoa, with a €25m plus €5m in add-ons (£21.5m plus £4.3m) transfer fee in place, and Djed Spence heading to Italy on loan until the end of the season.

Now, Romano has taken to Instagram to share some of the finer details of Dragusin’s new contract with Spurs.

He wrote: “Radu Dragusin has just completed medical at Spurs ground, deal sealed! Dragusin signs a contract valid until June 2029 on €3m salary per season, the agreement will be official soon.

“Spurs will pay €25m fee plus €5m add-ons easy to reach, Djed Spence joins Genoa on loan with option.”

Spurs Web Opinion

It was suggested previously that Dragusin would arrive on a contract similar to Guglielmo Vicario, earning roughly £75,000 per week, but it seems the new defender is on closer to £50,000 per week. Still, not a bad contract to sign for the player, I’m sure.
