Report: Bayern Munich now prepared to offer nine-figure sum for Harry Kane

Bayern Munich are now set to launch an offer worth £100m for Harry Kane, Football Insider have revealed.

Journalist Ben Jacobs was among the first to report on Monday that Bayern were set to submit their third offer for Kane after seeing their first two bids turned down by Spurs.

The journalist claimed that the total package offered by the Bundesliga club is expected to be worth close a €100m (£86.4m).

However, he explained that the Bavarian club have not been quoted any particular figure by Daniel Levy as of yet, with the Spurs chairman still hoping that his star striker signs a new deal with the club.

Bayern now prepared to meet Levy’s valuation

Football Insider have now reported that the Bundesliga champions have not been put off by Tottenham’s supposed unwillingness to sell their talisman.

The publication states that Levy is believed to be holding out for £100m for Kane, with Bayern now willing to meet the Spurs chairman’s asking price.

The outlet adds that the German club are in regular contact with the striker’s camp and believe they have a firm verbal agreement with the player.

Spurs Web Opinion

Given that Bayern’s last offer was only thought to be around £70m, I would be surprised if they were willing to raise that to £100m.

They are more likely to offer close to €100m (£86.4m) and it remains to be seen if that kind of bid would be enough to tempt Levy to sell.
