Report: Details emerge on fresh meeting between Bayern Munich and Spurs

Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has revealed that Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen will meet with Daniel Levy again this Friday to try and push through the Harry Kane transfer.

Dreesen reportedly met with Levy in London to discuss the Kane deal two weeks ago (The Athletic) and since that meeting, several German sources have been confident that the England captain’s proposed move to Bayern would go through.

In fact, Bild even claimed over the weekend that the striker’s wife, Kate, has already been to Germany to look for a new house near Munich.

Second meeting between Levy and Dreesen planned

Plettenberg has now taken to social media to reveal that Dreesen will meet with the Tottenham supremo again on Friday, which is why the 55-year-old will not travel with the Bayern squad to Asia.

The journalist adds that the Bundesliga giants want to finalise a deal for Kane ‘soon’ and that all parties are ‘optimistic’ that a deal will go through.

If Tottenham have decided to sell Kane, I am sure Levy would also not want the negotiations to be concluded quickly so that the club can plan for the rest of the summer.

However, having said that, it is difficult to see the Spurs chairman accepting anything less than £100m for the 29-year-old, especially with PSG now also in the picture.
