Report explains why Spurs would rather sell Kane to PSG than Bayern Munich

The Telegraph have revealed that while Daniel Levy might prefer to sell Harry Kane to Paris Saint-Germain, the striker is not in favour of joining the Ligue 1 giants this summer.

The speculation linking Kane with a move to Bayern continues to intensify, with German sources becoming increasingly confident that the deal will go through sooner rather than later.

In fact, Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg claimed on Monday that Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen will meet with Levy again this Friday to discuss the transfer, with all parties alleged to be optimistic that a deal can be agreed.

However, PSG also continue to remain in the picture, with Relevo journalist Matteo Moretto claiming two days ago that the Parisians had made contact with Tottenham over Kane’s availability.

He added that there is ‘good harmony’ between the two clubs, which could aid the French club during the negotiations.

Levy prefers selling to PSG than Bayern Munich

The Telegraph have now stated that there is a theory in and around Spurs that Levy would prefer to sell Kane to PSG rather than Bayer since the Tottenham chairman believes he would be able to extract a bigger fee from the Ligue 1 side.

However, the report adds that the England captain will not give the green light for a move to Parc des Princes this summer.

It is asserted that Kane’s stance has pretty much ruled out the prospect of a bidding war between the two clubs, with Levy now bracing himself for another offer from Bayern.

It seems quite clear that Kane has made up his mind about wanting to join Bayern, which is apparently why the Bundesliga club appear so confident that a deal will go through.

It now seems to be only a matter of the German side making the sort of offer that Levy would deem acceptable.
