Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport (23/02/23 as relayed by SportWitness) have revealed that Manchester United are ready to push ahead with an offer to sign Tottenham target Kim Min-Jae in the summer.
Tottenham, along with many clubs across Europe, will be kicking themselves for not snapping up Kim, who has been a revelation since his switch to Naples from Fenerbache in a £16m deal last summer.
Unsurprisingly, the centre-back’s impressive performances at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium have reportedly caught the attention of several Premier League clubs, including Spurs and Manchester United (CMW.it).
If Corriere’s latest update is to be believed, United are now ready to sink a defining blow in the race for Kim’s signature.
The publication adds that the Red Devils have identified the South Korean as a top target and are willing to pay his £42.2m release clause to snap him up.
It is asserted that Erik Ten Hag’s men hope to brush aside competition from the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool to bring Kim to Old Trafford.

Napoli would be keen to tie Kim down to a new contract and remove that release clause before the summer transfer window.
However, if they fail to do so, the competition for the 26-year-old’s signature is going to heat up as he has shown that he has all the attributes needed to be a hit in the Premier League.
