The latest to do so are Gazzetta, who say that the negotiations between the two clubs are still ongoing, with the player ready to join the club if a fee can be agreed.
It is alleged that Emerson is keen to move to the San Siro and that he has already reached an agreement on personal terms with the Serie A club’s hierarchy.
AC Milan could sign Emerson as early as next week
The Rossoneri and Spurs are said to be ‘closer’ to an agreement than they were a month ago, with the Italian giants now the clear frontrunners in the race for the defender.
The publication adds that a bid of around €20m (£17m) will be enough for Paulo Fonseca’s men to secure the 25-year-old, with the report adding that next week could be ‘important’ in the deal.
It seems Emerson Royal to AC Milan could be one to keep an eye on next week.
