Sessegnon thinks this Spurs player has lowest body fat percentage in the squad

Ryan Sessegnon has revealed which Tottenham Hotspur player has the lowest body fat percentage in the whole squad and labelled his teammate a “tremendous footballer.”

Fresh off the back of scoring a crucial goal to get Spurs back in the game against Bournemouth at the weekend, Sessegnon should be in high spirits. The 22-year-old now has two goals this season (Transfermarkt) and appears to finally be fulfilling his great potential.

Another Spurs player has been winning plenty of plaudits recently too. Rodrigo Bentancur only joined the club in January of this year, but has already become an integral part of Antonio Conte’s system.

The Uruguayan scored a late winner against Bournemouth at the weekend, and also scored the equaliser against Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League last week. Bentancur now has three goals to his name this season (Transfermarkt).

Many fans and pundits have been lauding the displays of Bentancur for the way he dictates a game in the middle of the park, breaking up opposition attacks and helping Spurs on their way in the counterattack.

It’s not just his impressive output in the goalscoring department that is worth commending though. Speaking to the Evening Standard, Sessegnon picked out Bentancur for praise and commented on the 25-year-old’s physical attributes too.

Sessegnon said: “He runs everywhere. He probably has the lowest body fat per cent of anyone at the club. He’s a tremendous footballer, a very good athlete and very important player for us.”

Spurs Web Opinion

Rodrigo Bentancur is currently making Juventus look very foolish for letting him go so cheaply, but that’s all to the benefit of Tottenham Hotspur. He’s forged an excellent partnership with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the middle of the park, and looks almost irreplaceable in the Spurs team now. Long may his brilliant form continue.
