Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Emerson Royal is keen on making a move to AC Milan, with an agreement on personal terms expected to be straightforward.
It has been widely reported by a number of Italian outlets over the last few weeks that Emerson, who is thought to be free to leave Spurs, has emerged as one of Milan’s top targets.
In fact, it was revealed by Gianluca Di Marzio at the start of last week that the Brazilian’s agent had already held preliminary talks with the Milan hierarchy over a potential move.
A few days ago, Gazzetta dello Sport (via Football Italia) explained that Tottenham are demanding €30m (£25.5m), which Milan have no intention of paying.
Instead, the publication alleged that the Rossoneri want to play the waiting game as they expect Spurs’ asking price for the full-back to drop over the next month or so.

Romano has now taken to social media to reveal that apart from Emerson, Milan are also keeping tabs on Lille right-back Tiago Santos.
He explained that the 25-year-old wants to make the move to the San Siro and that there are not expected to be any problems regarding personal terms.
However, Romano put Tottenham’s asking price at closer to €20m (£17m), adding that it is now up to the two clubs to finalise an agreement.
Spurs Web Opinion
I am not sure Tottenham would be too keen to reduce their asking price as Emerson is likely to be in demand in Italy and Spain. However, if the player has his heart set on a move to Milan, that might sway the deal in the Serie A club’s favour.
