Tottenham injury news vs Wolves

Vice-captain Cristian Romero begins his three-match suspension after he was dismissed in the first half for a challenge on Enzo Fernandez, while Destiny Udogie showed a moment of inexperience in the second half when the Italian was given a second yellow card after he hacked down Raheem Sterling.

Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of the clash against Gary O’Neil’s side.

Spurs were also dealt an injury blow when Micky van de Ven was forced off in first-half stoppage time when he was left clutching the back of his right leg with a hamstring injury, while James Maddison also failed to finish the match.

Postecoglou told the media (Football London): “There’s a fair bit happened after Monday night. Micky with a hamstring injury we knew was fairly significant. We’re looking at a couple of months into the new year.

“Madders a lot worse than we first thought. Was bad the next day. Again into the New Year with him.

“Richarlison the operation that we had kind of scheduled anyway with the international break. With him a month out.

“We’ve got a couple of suspensions. Ben Davies is back and available. Pedro [Porro] is fine, he’s been training all week.”
