Three Spurs stars make Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville’s Team of the Seasons

Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville have both named Son Heung-min and Destiny Udogie in their Premier League Team of the Season so far while the former also included Guglielmo Vicario in his side.

Until the start of November, a whole host of Spurs stars were seemingly in with a shout for the Team of the Season, but since then the likes of James Maddison, and Micky van de Ven have been out injured while Cristian Romero has also missed games due to both injuries and suspensions.

Son, meanwhile, has continued to carry Tottenham’s attack on his shoulders, with the South Korean’s goal against Bournemouth being his 12th of the season so far.

Udogie has been one of the surprise packages of the campaigns so far, with the left-back hitting the ground running since arriving in the Premier League and looking right at home in the inverted full-back role from day one.

The forward and the left-back made both Carragher’s and Neville’s Team of the Season so far, while Vicario was named in goal by the Liverpool legend.

Explaining Vicario’s selection, Carragher said that while he still considers Allison to be the best goalkeeper in the Premier League, he has been mightily impressed with the way the Italian has taken to the English game and how he has adapted to Ange Postecoglou’s high line.

Pedro Porro will perhaps feel a little unlucky to be overlooked in favour of Trent Alexander-Arnold. The Spaniard not only has more goal contributions than the Liverpool man but he has also excelled defensively this season.
