Tottenham finally reach ‘full agreement’ with Genoa for Radu Dragusin price – Journalist

According to Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, Tottenham Hotspur and Genoa have now reached an agreement on a deal that would see Radu Dragusin head to North London as a new Spurs player.

It has taken its time to come to fruition, but it appears Tottenham will finally get the new central defender they have been in desperate need of. For around a month now, Radu Dragusin has been the top target for Spurs in that area.

However, despite agreeing personal terms with the player early on in the month, negotiations have been protracted with Spurs and Genoa unable to agree on a transfer fee.

These issues allowed the likes of Bayern Munich (Florian Plettenberg) and Napoli (CalcioMercato) to circle and put Tottenham’s pursuit at risk of collapsing. Nevertheless, it is thought Spurs have always held the advantage, due to Dragusin’s desire to play in the Premier League (Football.London).

Spurs are one step closer to Dragusin deal

Finally, we have some concrete progress today, as Tottenham have come to an agreement with Genoa on a price for the 21-year-old.

Plettenberg revealed the details of the deal, tweeting: “Dragusin: Tottenham and Genoa have reached a full agreement about a transfer in winter this morning. Transfer fee: €25m + add-ons. Contract until 2029.

The race is not quite over yet, though, with Plettenberg adding: “If Bayern wants to have a chance, they must react today. There’s still no official offer from Bayern.”

Meanwhile, it has emerged (via Fabrizio Romano) that Djed Spence will be included in the deal, with the Spurs defender heading to Italy for a six-month loan move.

Barring any disaster, or late Bayern move, we should have this deal done relatively soon and could even have Dragusin registered and ready to face Manchester United at the weekend. Fingers crossed we can, because we really need him.
