Tottenham Hotspur find out who they will play in FA Cup fourth round

Tottenham Hotspur have been drawn at home to Manchester City in the fourth round of the FA Cup after the draw was made this evening ahead of the third round tie between Wigan Athletic and Manchester United.

Tottenham booked their place in the fourth round of the competition after beating Burnley 1-0 on Friday night at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with Pedro Porro’s stunning late goal being the difference between the two Premier League sides.

Can Spurs win the FA Cup this season?

The North Londoners were allocated all number 7 in the draw and they will certainly be hoping to go further than last season when they suffered a hugely disappointing exit in the fifth round under former boss Antonio Conte away at Sheffield United.

Ties in the fourth round will then be scheduled across the weekend of Saturday 27 January and successful teams that progress to the next round will pocket £120,000 from the competition prize fund (FA).

The FA Cup represents Tottenham’s only chance of success in a domestic cup competition this season after Ange Postecoglou’s side crashed out of the Carabao Cup at the second round stage back in August following a penalty shoot-out defeat at Fulham.
