Tottenham Hotspur’s fixtures in January compared to top four rivals

January is set to be a busy month for Tottenham Hotspur, with big Premier League matches and FA Cup action, all while dealing with a severe injury list, and the transfer window being open, too. To make things less complicated, we’ve put together a list of the fixtures Spurs face this month compared to their biggest rivals.

For the last two months, Ange Postecoglou‘s Tottenham side have battled through a slew of fixtures with key players missing from their squad and yet they still find themselves within touching distance of the top spot in the Premier League.

Spurs are currently fifth in the table and, after defeating Bournemouth at the weekend, are now just one point behind Arsenal in fourth, and three points off the summit.

The month of January will be key to Tottenham’s hopes of maintaining a surprise title challenge, and will also see the Lilywhites kickstart their pursuit of a trophy with the FA Cup third round clash coming up.

Spurs Web Opinion

This is a huge month for Spurs, with big games across two competitions. We have to beat Burnley and put together a cup run, but the league games will also be very tough. United may be struggling but they are always a threat, and Brentford made things very difficult for us at the start of the season.

However, if we can come out of January unscathed, and then get a handful of key players back, this could be a very special season.
