Richarlison’s future at Tottenham Hotspur may have a couple of more twists and turns over the coming weeks.
The transfer windows in Saudi Arabia and Portugal are now closed, leaving Richarlison with very few options to leave Tottenham after being left out of the Premier League squad by Roberto De Zerbi.
Over recent days, it has been suggested that a return to Brazil is a possibility for the former Everton man.
Richarlison has reportedly given the green light to a move to Vasco da Gama in Brazil, with the transfer window in South America remaining open until September 11.

Vasco cannot sign the Spurs striker on loan, as the North London club are already at the limit of the players they can loan out overseas.
ESPN Brazil have now revealed that a permanent deal for the 29-year-old will not be cheap for the Brazilian club to complete.
The report says that Spurs have told Vasco that they would have to pay a minimum of €20m (£17.1m) to sign Richarlison.
This has left Vasco ‘frustrated’, and there is another factor that complicates their pursuit of the Brazilian international.
The report says that the striker’s preferred option is to move to the Middle East, with Richarlison showing little interest in returning to his home country at the moment.
UAE club interested in Richarlison but he may have other ideas
A late move to West Asia could be on the cards for the Spurs man, with ESPN Brazil saying that UAE club Shabab Al Ahli have shown interest.
However, it is revealed that Richarlison has had a complete falling-out with the Tottenham board and does not rule out being on the sidelines until the end of the year and making a move in January.
It is revealed that since the centre-forward is in the final year of his contract, he is also free to sign a pre-contract agreement with a non-English club in January.
