Micky Van de Ven has waited patiently at the Euros

Van de Ven did not start any of the three group matches for the Netherlands, with Ronald Koeman preferring a centre-back pairing of Virgil van Dijn and Stefan de Vrij while Nathan Ake played at left-back in all three matches.

However, the Dutchman did come on as a substitute twice, replacing Ake in the Oranje’s 2-1 win over Poland and 3-2 loss to Austria.

Romania

Radu Dragusin has been a star for Romania

Meanwhile, Dragusin has played every minute of Romania’s Euros campaign so far, with the Eastern European nation defying expectations by finishing on top of Group E on goal difference after all four sides in the group finished with four points.

With the Netherlands qualifying as a third-placed team from Group D after picking up four points, it sets up a tasty pre-quarterfinal clash, with the two sides set to go up against each other at the Allianz Arena next Tuesday.
