Tottenham are looking at Max Kilman

We first heard of Tottenham’s interest in Kilman earlier this week, when Spurs insider Paul O’Keefe revealed on The Last Word on Spurs podcast that the Lilywhties are eyeing a move for the Wolves captain.

Tottenham’s interest in the player was subsequently backed up by GiveMeSport, who revealed that Ange Postecoglou’s side like the 27-year-old, given that he is homegrown and left-footed.

However, the report revealed that Spurs are expected to face competition for the centre-back from Man Utd, adding that the Midlands club value the player at around £50m as they brace themselves for offers.

West Ham enter the race for Max Kilman

Romano has taken to social media to state that West Ham have become the latest club to enter the race for Kilman.

The journalist says that Julen Lopetegui is a fan of the centre-back and wants to poach him from his former club ahead of the new season.

Romano added that talks are currently ongoing between the two clubs but the deal is ‘not an easy one’ to complete, given the high value of the player.

Despite the Lopetegui factor, one would think that Tottenham would be a more tempting destination for Kilman than West Ham.

However, it is unlikely that Spurs would want to shell out £40m-£50m on a centre-back this summer.
